Avoid use for acute or infectious joint issues.
Maintenance dose: 25 mg/kg body weight.
Initial dose: 50 mg/kg body weight for 4-6 weeks; up to 6 tablets daily.
Split dosage: Half in the morning, half in the evening.
Tablets can be given whole or crushed in food.
